Testimonials from Professionals
Ms. Bueno has a strong background in agriculture, with specialties in veterinary medicine, animal science, floral design, and food science.
What really stands out about her is the way she takes these areas of expertise and designs engaging, project-based learning experiences for her mentees’ students. For example, she helped with our CTE Showcase, where she provided a script that resulted in high-quality videos that highlighted students’ SAE projects and allowed students to use their answers for proficiency and degree applications.
She provided a guide for creating the voiceovers and made sure every detail was polished and professional. It was clear how much pride my students took in their work, and that is a direct reflection of Ms. Bueno’s mentorship.

CTE Agriculture & Natural Resources Teacher
Ms. Bueno has proven to be a remarkable program builder and leader.
She successfully guided our collaboration with stakeholders and industry partners, helping secure over thirteen million dollars in state and federal grant funding across two schools where I work. This funding expanded agricultural education opportunities, enhanced infrastructure, and created new teaching positions and pathways for students to access livestock projects, breeding programs, veterinary shadowing, floral design, and sustainable farming initiatives.
Her ability to manage resources effectively while promoting equity, ensuring that students from all backgrounds could participate, sets her apart as both an
educator and advocate.

CTE FFA Advisor
Agriculture, Food, & Natural Resources Teacher
I am honored to write this recommendation for Ms. Bueno, an outstanding educator and agricultural science professional with whom I had the pleasure of working from 2023 to 2025. Under her guidance, the school became the first and, at the time, only virtual school to receive formal recognition and an official FFA charter. Our students now hold multiple grand championship awards, grant funding, and scholarships, which is a testament to Ms. Bueno’s drive and leadership.
Ms. Bueno stays abreast of current industry expectations and integrates that knowledge into her curriculum with integrity and vision.
She is organized, respected by colleagues, and genuinely liked by students. Her ability to lead both classroom, intracurricular, and extracurricular initiatives with equal effectiveness makes her a valuable asset in any educational or organizational setting.
